How to turn a PDF or Word file into slides
You already have a handout, a report, or a document, and you don't want to retype it. Upload the file, say who the talk is for, and export a PowerPoint you can still edit.
Upload a file and start1. Upload the file and say what you want
Upload a PDF or Word file. Our example is a short PDF about baking bread at home. In the box we wrote: create a PowerPoint on how to make bread at home.
Then click Generate outline.

2. After you send it, leave this tab open
A progress bar will show up. Stay on this page until it finishes. When it's done, slides start on their own.
If you close the tab and don't come back, the slides may not be ready. Open the project again to continue.

3. You'll see the page list, then the editor
Next you'll see the slides this deck will have. For the bread PDF it used tools, why large holes happen, and starting your first loaf.
Then you'll land in the editor. If a page is wrong, change that page.

4. Click in and fix a sentence
Titles and body text work like a normal PowerPoint. Change one sentence on that page.

5. Export PPT or PDF
When it looks right, click Export. Choose PPTX if you'll keep editing in PowerPoint. Choose PDF if you just need to send a file.

6. Open it in the app you already use
Open the PPTX in PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides. The title and body are still selectable, so you can keep editing.

If the slides feel empty
Check these:
- You hit start with nothing in the box.
- You expected a long PDF to become one slide per page. Long files usually become a shorter deck.
- You uploaded a template or brand kit with no real content.
